Can I dye my shifter boot with RIT Liquid Dye? Thanks!

Don't think so. You will have to use a vinyl paint/dye to change its color, or find an aftermarket shift boot of the color you want. Normal dye like RIT dye is mainly used for fabrics and carpet.

There's a guy that sells Vinyl Shift Boot for 95-99 Eclipse. Got mine for $11.50 + $3.50 S/H

I picked RED and it looks Awesome. Very simple to install and the instructions that gave with are pretty good.

I also had my shifter cut (1.75") and welded with a Greddy Shift Knob.

Man it's the Best and Cheap.

What the Guy ABOVE said. These Vinyl Shift Boot are Really Nice. I got the red one and after installing it. I left the little light from the ash tray underneath the shift boot so at night when I turn on the parking light the whole shift boot lights up RED. Looks Awesome. (I did it by mistake...Forgot to hook the light back in the ashtray).

I havent taken the time to do it yet, but all you gotta do is upload your pictures to the net. If your ISP didnt give you a web account you can find free places all over the net. Then you can just add your picture in the user section of this page with the URL. If you need more help let me know. Dont know how detailed you need it or how internet literate you are =)
