ok, i need carpet, i dont need black and i cant cye it because i need royal blue...does ANYONE here own one of the asog cars or know someone who does who lives close to you? i posted this on their forum and am waiting for a reply but i need to know if teh avenger, sebring, stratus, or neon carpet will fit our cars correctly? the interiors are very similiar but im not sure if they are exact, i dont know anyone with one of those cars, but i do know a place that sells their carpet in colors. and anyone with black carpet please post some pics, i may resort to dying mine black if i cant find blue...does anyone think i can dye mine blue and make it look dark enough? maybe i should bleach it first to get out the grey?

dying it black works real good but you have the wash the shit out it. My carpet turned out awesome, it is easier to do if you take the whole carpet out though, doing it in the car sucks. And you will neer get a nice royal blue by dying it, the most you would get is dark navy blue.

lindsay so what nappyjim said ceptits about 200 for thier carpet.

rit sells this stuff thats supposed to take the dye outta carpet.. so it might just take the stock color out of your carpet.. or you can try to dye it white then dye it blue..

maybe bleach it

I love dino and 2gnt. ####ers (my word) bliz stole it but i let him borrow it

nah, linds, i wouldn't dye it. i spilled some chlorine from my pool in the backseat of my old car and it ate the nap right out of the rug. it might not be worth taking a chance... think about it. you're taking the chance that you might have rugs that are the same texture as hard cardboard. just keep looking, i'm sure someone has them in blue, and hey, if you ever find them, holla at me... i want a royal blue rug.

just buy royal blue paint take dat bitch out and put 2-5 good coats of paint on it, mine came out fine although i used black. i've had to re-spray the 2 high traffic areas once (driver/pass foot rest areas)

i had used the fabric/vynal spray but that rubbed right off so i used wal-mart brand spray and it came out fine and lasted. i did the same to my head liner.

my friend used rit to dye his carpet black... when it rained i stepped in and my white tennis shoes turned black, i'd advise against dying ur carpet. just my openion though.
