#19596, "anybody with VIS battle z sideskirts..help!"
i'm in the middle of dry fitting my sideskirts, and i have a quick question. how exactly did you guys bolt yours up? i am assuming 2 screws in the front wheel well, 2 screws in the back wheel well, and maybe double sided tape along the underside of the door?? my door slightly rubs on the sideskirts unless i push it down with my fingers.
should i just use double sided tape, or actually put some screws in the door jamb? TIA

Double sided tape will only make you have even less room between the skirt and the door. You need to screw it down. I used two screws in the door jams, two in the front fender well, and only one in the rear (so it's easier to take off).

ok, now let me ask you this... there is some small gaps between my skirt and the door jamb, but when the door is closed with the door car on, i can't even notice it. should i attempt to fill it, or just suck it up and leave it.
another question: where exactly are we supposed to line up the sideskirts to? is it "supposed" to be centered in that crease along the body? because mine slightly slants in that crease. thanks.

Don't worry about slight gaps in the door jam. That would only cause more problems if you tried to fix it. There is so little clearance. Also, it is supposed to somewhat line up with the door caps line, but a little lower. You can adjust it as you install it, but it's not a perfect straight line I think.
