I'm trying to take out the amber piece that makes the turn signal amber. I've heard heating it up works, but how hot, and what untensils should I use? Anyone do it around the bay area that can help me with it?? TIA

i would recommend using a heat gun although a blowdryer will work just fine.. just slowly heat around the edges and use a flathead screwdriver to slowly pry the lens away from the housing.. then the orange peice is screwed into the housing. remove it, heat the edges back up, slap it back together and then use some silicon sealant around the edges or hot glue for that matter.. i believe theres a vfaq floating around on it. some guys with 95-96 lights have just dremeled a big hole in the back of the housing pryed out the orange lens and glued it all back together.

ya the key here is to not get water/rain in the headlite, that's all so it dont fog up...sounds harder to do than it really is...i plan on fixing my drv headlite soon and just break out that amber shit on mine and get the insides painted red.
