also they probably didnt use the right type of paint, i have always heard that you need a special paint that flexes with your bumper that might be why is peeling off

I don't think there is a special paint necessarily, but i do believe there is a certain additive they need to mix into the paint so it can flex some with the bumper. My guess is that they left this out. I think it is a rather expensive additive too...maybe why you got such a good price...

Yes there is flex additive you can use. But it is not absolutely necessary if you use good paint and prep it well. Both me and Ian have no flex additive in our urethane stock bumpers and they have been fine for over 6 months. Good luck with that. Do you know what brand of paint they used? Make sure they wet sand it too.

PPG paint, and no they dont wet sand...they said "wha" lol. these gais are idiots. they said they used the additive shit to make it flex, thats why theres no primer. at any rate, I smell a new painted front bumper every 6 months if i keep going with these gais. shheeesh!

flex additive isn't really needed, it just evaportates from the paint after a few weeks.
Primer is very important though. When a body shop shot my first OEM Mitsu bumper they didn't primer it so it started cracking after a week, but they re-shot it w/ primer and the paint never cracker or peeled again.

just say this to them "Did you guys use primer, cause i was talking to a couple friends last night and they looked at my bumper and they said the same thing happened to theirs when there bumper wasn't primered. But once it was primered, the paint stuck to the bumper."
Also give them Stillen phone # so they can call to get prep and paint instructions, even though they should know how to.
It will be cheaper for them to do it right the first (or second now) time then to re-do it several times. Good luck
