can anyone tell me how to take the orange out of the corner of my 98 headlight ? i wanna go for an all hyper white look but i'm having a problem due to the orange

search it.. its there.. but just a quick run down.. you need to take out the headlights and use like a heat gun or a hair dryer to warm up the seal, and pry them apart. once you get the lense off, i think the orange piece is just clipped in.. take that piece out re-seal the lense to the housing with some silicon or window sealant and youre good to go... in fact, if you seal it correctly, it will be a better seal than stock (well, for the 95-96s.. not sure how well the 97-99s are sealed). someone did a write up and its floating around out there.. just gotta find it

You can try the heatgun approach or the dremel way. Basically once you get the headlight off the car, you'll need to cut off the turn signal area on the back of the light. Then just remove the orange lens. I did it this way and it's been fine for almost over a year now. Used hot glue gun to seal the box back onto the headlight.

I've attempted the heatgun way but it takes forever and is pretty difficult although it looks more pro; BTW you can't even see the part I cut off now that they are reinstalled.

do you have any shots of yours in DAYLIGHT?

I too cut the back off behind the orange reflector and took it out. In mine (95) the orange reflector was held in by one screw. I just unscrewed it, put the metal projection piece back in, and now that they are back in, you cant tell.
