i beleive its basically just a brighter light. also you have to take off the paint on your existing needle to make them clear and it looks better. (Warning, be careful, my needles are 1/2 inch shorter cause i got frustrated) Check out this link for an altima. anyone brave enough to try something like this???

i did it. i used their info but did it differently than they did. it was really easy. i used the white LEDs from radio shack instead of blue ones and used flourescent paint and it looks great by day and awesome at night

il have to take my guages out and look at them again, but i think you could do it on ours without pulling off the needles. did you have to take yours out? also how many bulbs did you end up using? just 1 for each guage?

i have the importintelligence.com kit.. looks great, but i was thinking that i could have done it myself for cheaper.. in any event, you will have to take the needles off and sand them to get the amber out. its easy to do, just need to make sure you make the needles and calibrate them correctly. easy as pie.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

like he said, you gotta take off your needles and sand the back down. i used 1 LED for each gauge and put it right behind where the needle was. it was easy to do.
