I dont know who the hell it is or how he got my number, but I think Im gonna call him back and tell him Ill think about it. The tantrums came out in 99, but I dont know. Would you guys do it??

If the tires are good on his rims, I'd definitely switch it. gsx rims look real nice, but tantrums look better imo. Plus any aftermarket rim is better than stock.

If their in good shape, and the tires are also, do it -- they look nice emoji See below (Even though mine are MR-7's, exact same design) heh

so is he trading you the tantrums plus 400 for your rims or
your rims plus 400 for his tantrums
cause i think someone misunderstood.
if he's giving you the rims plus 400 i'd really think about it cause you could sell those rims for more and get some new ones or just rock them and use the 400 for something good for you car. it would take some serious thought but i would check the wheels out before deciding

I think he means trade rims, and he pays the guy 400 for the tantrums. The guy would be insane to pay for gsx rims on top of that since they are smaller and only worth about 400 total used. If you think of it this way, you're really paying about 800 for a set of 18" trantrums with tires, which is a great deal if they are in good condition.

do it if he gives you the 400, dont if you have to pay him 400, cause tantrums arent that expensive new, i work at discount tire co and i can give you a better deal

I agree, the GSX rims are tight. And with the GSX's ayou don't have to worry about potholes as much, tires are cheaper, tehy weigh less, and they won't be outdated anytime soon (which the tantrums already are)
