I am going to try to make my own diamond plate floormats, but i can't find a place to buy it. Home depot doesn't have it and McMaster-Carr only sells in in huge sizes for a lot of money. http://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/108/html/1887.html

anyone have suggestions? I don't want to pay $170 at Machv or 35 a piece for the 5-zigen inserts.

i bought a sheet of steel diamond plate once for 80 bucks at a steel/machine shop in my town. Aluminum would be probably a good bit more. plus you would need an aluminum welder for the aluminum. that's all i know.,

I got mine at a place called HANDY METAL MART here in san diego. They have some scratch laying arround and they sell it for cheap. If you are very interested I can go there and see what they have and let me know how much u need and ask them for the price and maybe if you want I can buy it for you and ship it to you as well.

Premade ones are at mavh V motorsports.. I have no clue what the web site address or price of them are..
