It was originally $587ish and some change, shipped, brand new, lifetime warranty. But after talking and bullshitin wif the sales rep and listening to his life story he knocked off a $100. It was $487ish shipped. *sighs*

Said it'd take 5-7 days...but sunavabitch, 2 business days later (not counting weekend) its here. Now it's gonna sit here until payday or next payday so I can get it painted. I'm going to remove my front bumper this weekend and install it unprepped to see how it fits and shit. I am also going to remove the headlites and do something to those (u wont know until it's done). Then depending on price of prepping+paint or just prepping I will do the prepping myself...depends like I said on cost. If I end up prepping it, I plan on driving like that for a week to see when/where I scratch it up and how low its going to sit. It does appear to be 2 inches lower than the stock. *cringes

I am hoping this shouldnt be more than $250 tops to paint it. I hear red is the most expensive tho.......

Very nice Mike. Good choice there....urethane all the way. Especially since it's lower than our stock one. I love that front end myself.

in my experience the bumper isn't that big of a problem as long as you watch yourself going over speedbumps and what not (angle is a must). my car is dropped quite a bit though so that accounts for much of the occasional scrape. it's really something you get used to. it really bothers you at first, but then you live with it. i honestly hardly scrape it though. and nothing is noticable when looking at the bumper, to see the "scrapes" you really have to get down and look at the underside. i've had the bumper on for well over two years and it is my only vehicle so i'm familiar with the bumper and daily driving conditions. it really does look beautiful on though IMO. of course i'm biased emoji i also opted to fill the "void" in the bumper with an intercooler hehe. i suggest doing the same ;P good luck with it.

Taking the bumper off was EASY! the headlites wernt hard either...if you got a lonnnnnnng extension socket and pull the flimsy ass bumper down a little bit.

HOWEVER, putting the stock bumper back on was a BITCH. I lost bolts, couldnt get this in, couldnt fit that on, etc....I put the headlites back in and OF COURSE didnt plug in a harness, or did on one, but not the other, reversed, etc....jeeeeezus effin' christ! I didnt have enuff daylight....so I put my stock bumper back on....

The fit is EXTREMELY tight. It downright sucks. I need to figure out how Imma be stretching this rubberass bumper when paint is on it. *nervous.......

I need to only drill 4 new holes from what I can tell...the two on each side that bolt to the fender. I don't know how or why, but one of the two on each side wont take a bolt back in there....damn plastic things musta broken off.

Anyway....ya I was playing, I couldnt wait. emoji

shouldn't be that much to paint it if your gonna do the prep work. I just bought my shogun and it had like 3 major cracks. the body shop i took it to repaired it, painted it and installed it for 180. looks damn good too. Can't even tell the cracks were there and they also reinforce it with more fibreglass.

Your bumper is gonna look so sweet bro.

I need to find someone with a digital camera so i can take pics of my new bumper and show you all.

Hey Mike... you should put the stillen front on and drive around a few days before you get it painted so it can stretch and settle. That way your paint will not crack and look bad.

they mix in a flex agent or something to help the paint stay on the bumper and not crack don't they? My bumper fit kinda close to the hood. The shop had to repaint it actually. The hood hit it and took the paint off and I noticed on show day and used mad touch up paint and got by luckily. The black braket had to be moved down some, and now, I have no probs. I dunno if that's what you mean by it fitting extremely tight, or do you mean it has to be pulled from fender to fender to fit flush? if that's it, it should be ok once u get it on there one time. I think leaving it on a few days is a good idea, but the bumper is molded as it is, I doubt it is gonna just settle in a few days. It would take a long time to settle to fit right. I'd ask some people with the same front what they did. Gonna look nice btw.
