Alright, last summer i did my front conversion. I took the old cover off and slid the new one on. The cover wouldnt fit right with the rebar so i just took it off. It was like the rebar stuck out too far and the cover just wasnt big enough. My question is did you take your rebar off? Is your bumper oem? I bought mine off ebay from northshore auto body parts.

I did the front end on my 95 talon and everything bolted on exactly like stock, Every nut and bolt was the same. If your bumper is aftermarket you might have to do some trimming to make it fit.

The reinforcement bar? I got an OEM bumper cover from a guy on eBay and it fit perfect. I did, however, trim a bit of the white polyfoam stuff around where the license plate is to make it sit better.

That's odd that you had to take the rebar off... I thought the aftermarket's were supposed to be exactly like OEM... I almost bought mine from Northshore too btw, but didn't want to deal with painting hassles.
