well, have u done anything under the car, neons, cats? If anything it may be from the firewall around the ac lines of stearing console. But from all the times Im under my car, there are no real spots where water can gome in unless u make the hole.

I'd say def check your firewall under the driver's dash area, and under the passenger area. If you have drilled holes there, then water can get in them, but more likely in the dirvers side. Water can roll off the hood, and can find its way in there. I'm not sure exactly, but check the air intake piping for the blower motor. I know the inlet grate is below the wipers, maybe something is leaking there. Where do you think the water is coming from? front? Rear? How bout some more info. Taking out the carpet is pretty easy. Remove seats, some panels, and loosen center console. Keep us posted..

hey.. I have kinda the same problem... but the thing is that I changed my windshield a while back..now every time I wash my car.. I find that there is a considerable amount of water that leaks into the passenger side of my car.. its like not a lot... but enough to make me wonder where it came from.. I have there rubber mats in the car that collect dirt and snow.. thats how I can tell that water is getting in.. any ideas... e-mail me at jasonhko@hootmail.com thanks.

Where is it leaking? I had a small leak in my back hatch area (spare tire well) that held ALOT of water and my backseats would get really really soaked. The prolbme was the drains in the hatch area. There are two small holes, one on each side, of the back area where you lift up the hatch. Just like up on the hatch and stick a straightend out hanger down the holes to clear up the gook and muck in there. This will get rid of your problem.

IF your eclipse is a GS then it might be the 2 drains in the factory sunroof, (one on each side) if they clog the water will back up into the car, also check the hatch drains. If you wanna unclog the sunroof drains let me know and i'll help you....djdeuce66@yahoo.com
remember it is a small tubing that flows down the sides of the winsheild.

Also make sure the weatherstripping around your hatch is pefectly on track. it sits on a metal rail and if it slips off it will leak water into the back seat area.
