#17377, "I found a build date on the e brake handle"
i took out my seats this weekend to dye them and on the passenger side on the bottome of the ebrake handle by the carpet there is a build date. It said september xx 1995. I dont remember the exact date. interesting. anybody else seen this?

I think you can also figure out the build "day of the week" from the VIN number - not sure if you can get the exact date from it though. Mine also says the month and year on the white sticker in the door jam. So it actually says the exact date in there?

yeah it had an exact date. i dont remember it. yeah, the white sticker has the month and year, but this had the exact date. the 10th letter in the vin will give you the year
s=95 t=96 v=97 w=98 x=99
i dont know whats gonna happen when they run out of letters
