Do you happen to have a pic of that?? How is the mag lite held there - I mean they are heavy - do you ever worry about taking a turn and having it pull off??? I am assuming you have the bracket mounted on the interior metal a pillar and sticking through the plastic??? Thanks.
2003 VW GTI 1.8t.. I used to have a 95 Eclipse but well...water sucks.

nah it isnt that heavy, maybe 3 pounds. i just used the mag-lite brackets and drilled them through the plastic a-pillar, im not sure if they went into the metal behind it but i dont thik they did. those brackets are plastic but they hold like a bitch, it takes me two hands and a good angle to yank it outta there and then you gotta press really hard to push it back in, but not painfully so. if i ever flip my car that flashlight will still be clamped in there, no doubt. here is a pic but the board has been fishing up lately and breaking up pic links, so if t doesnt show, click my homepage link below and go to "my eclipse" where there is a pic of it (thats the pic i tried posting in the other thread about fire extinguishers) here it is though, if it wont show, try right clicking it and hitting "H" otherwise go to my site http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt blue2gnt@hotmail.com AOL IM - ThreeRedDiamonds

I mounted mine on the plastic that is around the rear passenger side window. The drill went right in and the flashlight kinda hangs upside down, but yeah, it is solid. I doubt flipping the car would even throw it off.
