okay, i've been putting off ordering gauges for some time now, but it's finally time to get them. i plan on putting them in a triple gauge pillar. i already have a nitrous gauge on the bottle, so i don't think i need one of those. i was planning on getting an oil pressure gauge, an air/fuel gauge, and a voltage gauge since i run so many electronics (stereo, ps2, tv's, occasionally underdash neon, etc...)
i need your help as to which 3 gauges are the most important to get first. which do you think i should get?
do i get the smaller size or the 3 5/8" size?
if i get an oil pressure gauge, should i get the 0-100, 0-150, or 0-200 psi one? i don't know much about this.
should i order my gauge pod from www.gaugepods.com or an actual autometer one. which looks better?
is there anything else i should know, like are there special sending units i need or anything like that?

the ones i look at most are EGT, AF, and Boost..in your case, you should probably get EGT, AF, and Fuel Pressure. or get volts if you want an easier install or lower price.

how hard is the egt gauge to hook up? on a scale of 1-10. 1 being filling your gastank, 10 being dropping in a new engine.
i seen that someone did the oil pressure and a/f gauge write up, i just want something that's gonna be somewhat easy, and look good, yet be useful to me as a driver.
i guess so far it's oil pressure and a/f. should i go with the egt and a pod for now. to be honest, i want a lot of movement on my pillar (if that's possible) i guess if i want movement, i should go with a boost gauge, and just use it for vacuum until i get this damn turbo.

the thing with the egt is that you have to drill the manifold. you will need a sharp drill bit and a tap( to put threads in the hole ) then you just screw in your sensor. not hard just have to be careful.
then again if you are not turbo, don't know why you would need it.
late.
