"NEW" Silver 3-piece grill from Grillcraft is being auctioned on ebay. The price is still less than $100. I think it ends Wednesday morning.

you pay more than $7.99 for a grille and i will laugh at any of you without prejudice! go to lowes or any home store, but some chicken wire and kick yourself in the head repeatedly for considering paying for a grille like that. they are made of chicken wire with a grillecraft logo marking up $90 bucks on the price, here is mine, you be the judge...

the bottom grille is the one that came on the bumper though

from grillcraft and it looks killer. It has a reinforcement bar that surrounds the mesh. It is also powdercoated and has a thick coating over it to protect from rocks etc. I took my label off when I got it....that is the only thing that is cheap about the product. I think retail is too much to pay for this, but $100 is fair. I have seen chicken wire and gutter mesh and it does not appeal to me. BTW: the price on e-bay is below wholesale and that is why I was mentioning it here. To have an opinion is good.....to knock others for choosing a particular product is harsh. This site is filled with rice boys, speed freaks and autoX nuts.....one persons waste of money is another persons next upgrade! IMHO

I take it that's the black powder-coated 3pc. you have on your car, right. I have a black eclipse and have been tossing it around in my head, to buy or not to buy the grill, black of course. Do you think it's a good idea?

i wasnt trying to knock you for your choices, by all means its your money you know, just stating my opinion to try and help others out.i guess my wording was a little harsh, just tryin to make a point. the chicken wire is the same pattern as the grillecraft, but the grillecraft is powdercoated (which could account for some of the price) but powdercoated to "protect from rocks"? the chicken wire is bare metal (stainless of course) so its already protected form rocks. as for the black car, if my opinnion counts even tho i hate grillecraft, i would say go with a silver grille (chicken wire but grillecraft if you want that) it just seems like a waste to buy the black grille because you wont see it and grilles dont really serve a function unless you have a front-mount or some foglights that dont stick out beyond the grille area.

The car in my signature does not have the grill or fog lights in it. It was taken long before I added these to the front end. I have the silver 3-piece grill(looks more silver base/clearcoat wheels in color). Just for the record, I did not actually pay for my grill. I made a trade for some other free products I had on hand. Cyan is also correct that it is hard to see a black grill. It looks like a shadow more than 25 feet away. It would hide a front mount if you are trying to be a NA sleeper..hehe
