Dont paint in a grage for 30 min and then you will see a light, Dont go to it, It hurts. N e way Im changeing my spark pulg gaskits and painting my valve cover, you will never guess what color....... CLEAR! I like my black colver, I just polished the DOHC mumbo jumbo and put 10 layers of clear hight temp paint, and man is my head spinnin. I see what kinda pics I can get after I fuk it up

How hard is it to paint your valve cover? I had thought about it....but I kinda wanted it chrome. Does anybody know how much it cost to have it chromed, and where to get it done??

looks great man! whatd you use to do it? wet sand it? or dremel it? and if you dremeled did you do enough to take that texture out of the letters?
and to the question about chrome -- youd have to take it somewhere and get it dipped. painting its easy -- just gotta take the time to mask the letters off

I used plastic coat high temp engine paint. I dremeled the leters and then got out 600 grit paper to smooth it out, degreaased the bad boy, then shot the whole thing, letters and all with paint. And whala! it will always look shiny now
