when i bought my car, it was in awesome condition except the bumper was cracked. Can't see it unless you get way under the car. But i was thinking about getting just the sensei bumper and putting in some big fogs in the holes.

My question is where can i get around 8" fogs and would just the senei bumper look to low on my car with stock skirts?

yes, im so tired of seing stock RS 's with low front ends, looks completely off from the sides. the sinsei bumper is about as low as stock 97 so do the math. id get some sides first though. and the sinsei takes 7" or smaller fogs BTW.

So much so, I am having 1.75" removed from the bumper, to make it not as low.

well, it depends on how you want them mounted. if you want the more flush look like nick, then go with 7" or 6". if you want them mounted so that the foglight is recessed a bit, and you can only see glass, then order the 8". i personally like them set in behind my bumper. the glass on the 8" foglights is about a millimeter smaller than the hole, so it basically fits in there like a glove. i'm just waiting for my dad to get the i-bolts so we can align them up correctly. here's a pic, but in this pic, nothing is tightened, not even my headlights, or bumper, you can get a rough idea though by looking at my driver side foglight.

Yo, where are you gonna remove the 1.75 inches? Above the foglight holes is the only spot you can do it really, and then it'll look dumb in my opinion, if you go through the foglight holes you're gonna have oval shaped holes. Isn't it gonna cost a grip to do that, it's alot of custom work (labor/hours) to make it look right.

That area is relatively flat and is the easiest place to do it. (you can tell better by looking at TrickedEclipses picture)

So now I wont bottom out everywhere. Also, this will allow me to be able to throw my 14" wheels on for when I go to the track. That idea is IMPOSSIBLE right now. Also gives me room to ower my car maybe another .25" if I want to.

I have the hookup on price! My body shop rocks at custom
work and price. 4 days is how long its going to take. They are also doing a bunch of other custom things to this bumper too, such as fixing my smashed skidplate and lining the bottom of the bumper with "RhinoGuard"

I am going to try and have all of this done before I go
to daytona for the meet. My car is looking extra raggedy right
now. Looks barely like the photos at the moment.

Do you still have your bumper reinforcement? If you do, then cutting 1.75" there definitely won't allow you to keep it. BTW, we charged like 400 labor to remove 2" from a black widow kit all around (from front and rear bumpers), so yes, it is a lot of labor, and you're really lucky if you got the hookup.

Believe me it will look great. It's gonna match the sideskirts perfectly now (Im sure you noticed that the front hangs around 1.75" lower then the sideskirts)

Up my sleve soon body wise is carbon fiber hood (sorry folks, I'm painting it), and bmw fenders

no, 8" fogs are too big, i have 7" and they are recessed completely, remember i have this bumper and those lights already
