Sorry to hear about that...if it's really deep like you say, you can't fix it without repainting. Like if you run your hand across it and can really feel a groove, then it cut into the metal and you'll have to get a body shop to fix it. Otherwise, if it's just a light surface scratch (which I doubt from what you explained), you can try to buff it out. If you can see metal or it goes in deep, then you'll have to get it fixed, for most likely around 400 to 800 depending on where you go etc. Good luck. Insurance should cover it but you will have to pay your deductible. One thing people do is make it worse so they will get more money out of it by keying more body panels, but that's insurance fraud.

Dude that really sucks. I had the same thing on both sides of my car except it did not go past the door (just front fender up to the doors). I payed 650 to fix those, along with painting and installing a blitz front. But that proved to be a waste since I got rid of the blitz front 6 months later, and then repainted my whole car later on...

Not worth making small claims if your deductible is 500 bucks...

if you wondering what touch up paint looks like...see below in my sig emoji

bastards got me from the drv mirror all the way to the taillight. The touch up paint worked well, hides it mostly, 'cept for when your right up close on it....

My car always looks good 20 feet away, lol... just dont look at the touch up paint or the bandaids over my old stock 3pc fin holes hahah
