Does the center vent piece pop off just like the radio/HVAC one? If not, then how does it come off?

use something to wedge it out like a flat head screw driver. that will help get it out.

There are plastic clips. They just have to be pushed apart with a flat head.

be carefull thou you should put a piece of cloth around the flathead so he doesnt scratch it
