#15880, "I dyed my interior"

I used Rit dye on my carpet and mats this weekend... Took everything out washed the carpets at the car wash with a pressure sprayer. hand soaked it all with a sponge let it soak... Then rinsed it out and let it dry. The mats came out slightly darker than the carpet and one door panel came out darker than the other. Overall i think it looks 10x better than it did...

hey what did you use to get you carpet so nice looking kaptain? I used rit and it came out kinda shitty. I got a few spots that won't hold the dye even after soaking them twice for 6+ hours.

Looks nice man...but what are you gonna use on the dash? My interior is a really ugly blue color (95 RS), and I was wanting to change it pretty soon before I start throwing up.

When I did my carpets I got some stuff called Car Beauty Pro carpet dye! It worked great here is a site that sells it.

http://www.prowax.com/

And it will do a carpet color change.
