Did you use the Duplicolor or Plastikote spray vinyl to paint your seats and how did it turn out. I'm nervous about doing this but I think it would be better than seatcovers. How are the weather conditions when extreme heat or cold comes? thanks. (pics are appreciated, too)

i emailed corbin about the same thing and this is what he told me about the seats.

" I used Plasti-kote fabric color for the seats. For the
fabric, I removed the seats and cleaned the fabric with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. I then taped off the center sections like it was normal plastic. You have to work the tape down into the "joint" between the fabric pieces. I did one light coat and then heavy coats after that. It won't ever drip or run, so you can put as much on as you want."

hope that helps

I plan on painting all my little center sections black and leaving the rest the stock gray. Mike if i were you, i wouldnt go with black and red though since you seem to have decided to go with a red and white interior theme. IMO that will throw your design off.

they are a little loose but they give you velcro to make it snug to the seat. they dont slide or anything-they are a perfect fit. i got the red/black ones and im painting the red part with black vinyl upholstry paint. it doesnt flake off, either i already tested it. i just need some time. ill have new pics of my interior/car up soon

Hrmm, that sounds like a sweet idea...the idea of repainting my interior has been appealing to me for awhile now. I think I got a little more balls for it now since I did the Talon tail light mod with the Krylon spray and it worked. So, maroon Talon, grey interior, what colors would look good? I'd like to spray the seats and seatbelts, and eventually paint the dash and trim.
