Ok, Im (hopefully) gettimg grneclipse's bummper and a new rear bumper and a custom hood. So all the stripes on the car will be gone except for the roof and the hatch lid. Now should take those off if there is now awful disculoration between the strips and pain from the sun ( That can be buffed out?) Or re-stripe all those new parts? So you have to imagen a shogun front end with combat rear with a hoodscoop for a hum with stripes(Im tired so All I can imagen is this ....) But it would look like this {===|}
Dude: I sold the bumper already......................
Nah, i'm just fucking with ya, LoL, anyhow, I got the bumper off, so if you want to pick it up anytime you have the $$ and the LED's that's cool.....I"ll be sending the pics of it tomorrow just give me the e-mail that you want it sent to. Also, there's only one problem that I forsee with you putting that on your car, You might have to have your body shop guy add some glass to make it fit your lights (or is it shave off some glass) well regardless, the cracks are not that bad, and you will see that tomorrow. THanks

My car had 2 small racing stripes down the side of it, and i took them off about 3 weeks ago. My car is a '96 and there was no difference in color. and my car is black. If that makes any difference. I say go for it.

In my opinion you should keep em, everytime I see a eclipse with racing stripes, I think of your car, it's like your trademark man!

How long have you had the stripes.... it should take some time for the paint to discolor... like a couple of years... (as long as you waxed it every once and awhile) IMO ..... I had stripes and just removed the last section on the deck lid.... no discoloration but i only had them on for like 6 months.... the color now is well you can see in my sig... BTW where did you get that pic from is that like some new pop group or something ???HAHAHA

If there is any discoloration, any good detailing shop should be able to buff them out. Simple waxing might work, but buffing with a buffing wheel will definately take em out..
