okay, i've finally got around to painting some more of my interior trim. here's my question: how did you guys get the cover (or door) off of the glovebox to repaint it? does it come off? or did you paint it inside/on the car. Also, that little plastic cover that goes beneath the steering wheel - (the one with the hood release cable built in) does that one come off? when i installed my alarm i just let it kinda dangle by the hood cable, but now i need to know if there is anyway to disconnect it so i can repaint it.

yeah you can take everu interior piece out, just get under there and look and you will see how to do it. the plastic under the steering wheel is held on with four 10mm bolts. to get the glovebox out,open it and pull down so the rubber stopper snaps below the tab that holds it in and then remove the screws on teh bottom of the glovebox that hold it to the bracket

Hey man, first off your car looks pimp as hell.
Gotta question... maybe everyone can answer...

Does it look cheesy when you paint ALL of the interior like that? I mean, I imagine it being very shinny and tacky-sticky feeling.... kinda ghetto looking. This is how I kinda feel about my simple pulloff peices that I painted. They came out good, no drips or smudges or finger prints, ... I used Acrylic spray with clear coat afterwards. I mean it looks good, but couldnt imagine doing all of the other interior with it....
