#15029, "Body Kits"

I'm looking for a body kit to make an Eclipse look like the one from The Fast and The Furious. If anyone knows a website that has it let me know. I am looking to get an Eclipse soon and I'm looking for that body kit to put on it after I get all of the performance mods I want.
Thanks

Man thats the Blitz kit... and they are everywhere lol. Ive seen them on ebay for 500 bucks or so, but I am not sure of the quality of those on there. Just a quick question, why do you want to make your car look like that?? That car is so played out, seems like everyone and their brother have an eclipse with a blitz kit on it. Im not trying to talk smack, if you like it then go for it. IMO I would look for something a little more original, but like I said that is just my opinion. Good luck bro

fasterGS-

I sort of knew that it was the blitz kit but I wasn't sure. Once I get and Eclipse I am gonna go for performance first. Then after I get that done I am gonna look more into body kits. I love the looks of the Blitz kit but if I find something more original I would go with that, but as of right now I want the Blitz kit because it is so tight!
Thanks

I personally love the Blitz body kit, and who really cares if its played out, around here, I haven't seen one eclipse with one. It looks really tight, just do what you want to, it's your car. If i saw a blitz body kit on a clipse, i wouldn't be like, thats all played out man!, but i would be like, that's hella cool! I am going to do performance befor looks also, and for me, i just really love the front end of my 98, it just looks pretty mean for it being stock...Oh yeah, i dig the roof scoop too, gives the car a little attitude, lol..

IT'S NOT A BLITZ KIT. Other cars in the movie had it, but the green eclipse that paul walker drove clearly has the words robocar on it. the front bumper had two vertical elliptical shaped vents or holes in it on either side of the air dam for housing the intercoolor. I'll try to find a pic.

Actually Mindz...it is a Blitz Kit. But a performance shop (somewhere in cali) called Robocar modified it...notice in the rear of the Eclipse from the F & F, the 2 round lights (whatever the fuck they are called) are visible...well...the regular blitz kit dousnt allow that.

im sorry but i must agree. no offense to the current blitz kit owners (i used to be one), but the blitz kit was played out in 1998. you may not believe it becaue at first i didnt, but im dead serious, i was looking at pics that i took at the nopi nationals in september of '99 and most of the eclipses then had blitz kits. this wasnt until a year later, when i had the kit on my car that i noticed this. i had it for about a year and a half from 1999-early 2001 and hated it the whole time. it looked good before but by comparison now (sinsei, bomex, veilside, rudora, buddy club, and street fighter) the shitz comes in almost dead last. the only worse looking bumpers i could think of to put on my car are the agressor or the evo. that doesnt take into consideration the fact that about 90% of the blitz kits made now are shit, youll pay more for fitment and paint of just one front bumper than these fools are charging for a whole kit ($500?!? you pay 500 for an entire kit your smoking crack rock...the best bumpers cost that much per piece)

They should discontinue kits after so long imo. Blitz should be discontinued b/c it is played now. It's tight, but too many people have it now.

Too many "show" people have the kit, but if you look daily driving on the streets, you HARDLY ever see a car with the exact same kit. I'm in LA, and fixed up cars are everything, such as black widow ktis on hondas. But even though almost every honda has a black widow kit, I still like it and think it looks good. Same thing with blitz. Even if a lot of eclipses have it, you don't see that many on the street (it's only the internet that makes you think everyone has it). I had my blitz back in 1999, and I still like it. I just wanna be different which is why I don't have the blitz now. And there aren't any unique bumpers any more, so I'm just stock for now til I finish my venom bumper.
