#14955, "HondaHater LED Question - Do I need to solder?"

Hey, thanks for the blue LED. Do I need to solder the wires from the LED onto the stock wiring? Also, what do you mean on your site by wrapping tape around the base? Is that the actual clear part, of the LED? Thanks!

its not neccessary to soder the connection, but you can if you want.. and i bet he means to use tape at the bottom of the led to secure it somehow..

no you dont have 2. I just did the old twist and tape method. AS for wraping tape, I mean right below the led(where it flares out0wrap a bunch of tape to make it bigger to fit in the hole. If you look at one of the pics you can se all the tape on it

no you can just tap the wire and wrap it with some electrical tape, but if you want to use but connecters then you can do that too
