i just recieved my shift knob in the mail and when i looked inside it, i noticed that the depth inside the knob is way shorter than the stock knob. when on, it also sticks up another 2 inches so it looks funny. should i cut the shifter so it accomidates the knob and looks correct or should i just forget about it and return it?

Man go with the hurricane short shifter. 40 bucks I think will get you a shortened version of your stock shifter. Give him a shout or Im sure he will see this soon enough.
