so as some of you might know, i put my CF hood on last monday. so know i want to do something a little custom when it comes to pop my hood. so i bought a sileniod and i'm going to hook it up to the latch and put a swith around one of the holes in my bumper to pop it. anyone have any suggestions on doing this? anyone here done this? comments concerns? and then later when i get an aftermarket alarm i can hook the silenoid up to an alarm emoji

ok, quick question. I thought the only thing a solenoid would do is open whatever. Like one in the door would pop the door open. If you were to do that and have it hooked up to some struts like the rear hatch i think that would be pretty hot. I dunno, let me know if im wrong about the solenoid though i always like to learn (about cars)

don't think i could get that to work. you still have to use the latch once you pop open the hood. you know what i'm talking about. if you got rid of the latch once you pop the hood then it might work.

I see what your saying, but even with the latch it would still look cool at shows IMO
