i bet they are the same leds i have been telling people to use and have used already.. but hey give it a try and see what happens.. oh and like i said a few times in other posts.. its not entirely the brightness that allows the hvac to light up properly. if you want a bright hvac.. might i suggest using a green led that is really bright.. it shines and transfers much better than the blue.

its not really thats its bright
its that its 3 different LEDS angled in what would looks like could hit every part of the HVAC... where as one of these could be easily made I might try and get one of these and mount it and see how it goes

just a thought

that will NEVER fit in the HVAC, you have a hole less than 1/4 diameter to fit a led in... that "thing" is HUGE, don't waste your money on it. I bought some blue LEDS at the electronics shop near me and they light up the HVAC perfectly. The LEDs were 8 bux a piece, but well worth it when i was done.

very obvious that it would not fit in the same place that the original LED came from
im talking about mounting it in a new spot
as soon as i get a chance i will get pictures and try and show
but at the moment my monitor is fried
so im just on a laptop

Aiight, it wouldn't work, based on the dimensions they give you on that page it wouldn't fit anywhere on the back of the HVAC. You'd be better off with 3 seperate LEDs and drilling 2 extra small holes somewhere on the back of the HVAC, it would be possible to accomodate 2 little holes than that big box. Trust me, I've been there, done that.

the leds i have menchened should do the trick, but hey if you want to try it, go for it.. it never hurts to try.. if i hadnt decided to just go at it like i did all this hype about the leds may have not come about.. emoji

but dont credit me even for the idea.. i got the idea from someelse on the board and took it where i could.
