how do you shave your antenna? when i was changing mine to a billet aluminum one(big mistake and waste of money), i had the radio on and it lost reception. i have the antenna on the rear window but i don't think it works.

If you have a good head unit with good FM sensitivity, then you may not really need the antenna. The one in the rear window does nothing. There are also internal antennas you can get I think. To shave it, you should weld sheet metal over the hole.

i'm using the glass antenna and it works great, both on on panasonic deck and eclpse deck.

im shaving mine and getting the jetta style put on my rear hatch where the rear window squiter is..

i just noticed last night that when i'm listening to 107.1 FM and have the defrost on...the reception gets real bad...anyone else ever notice this??
