Does anyone have a good method for getting the little white fasteners back into the hole in the metalfor the panels on the sides of the center console besides taking the seat out?

make sure you are trying to put it in the right hole. i made this mistake (luckily didnt break anything). if youre talking about the lower panels and not the center console itself, you should have a screw and a plastic fastener for each one. on mine they were reversed...i.e...on one the screw went here (down by the floor) and the fastener went there (under the button)...and on the other one the screw went there (under the button) and the fastener went here (you get the point). it didn't work any other way. if youre talking about the actual console itself, you just have to keep working it in there until everything is lined up. anyway i hope i havent caused more confusion...haha.
