Where's the best place to buy aftermarket fog lights for 97-99 eclipses. What fits those stock holes the nicest?...anyone have an idea? Or maybe even some cheap stock replacements, just too expensive from satan, 97 per light!! thanks.

fog lights are the Pilot Motorsport fogs. They fit perfectly with NO modifications. They sell for $100 per set and are well worth it. They include everything required to install(relay, switch, wiring). Kind of the plug and play version...LOL You will need the factory bumper fog light inserts(less than $10 per set). They replace the ones you have that have the slits in them. I powered the switch to my cigarette lighter fuse box. I can have fogs with any configuration of lighting scheme. They are totally independent of the factory lighting setup. You will have to remove your stock bumper to install the lights. No way around this.

Yeah man, get the ones DeanoD mentioned....the Pilot Motorsports factory style ones. I have them and they are well worth the money. Nopi sells them for $96 a set(www.nopi.com). The covers we are talking about are for a GS/GST/GSX. They will be open in the center and have a small hole in the corner for adjusting them once they are installed. You can pick these up at your dealer and they are cheap. These lights mount the same as the factory ones...right to the metal bumper....there are three pre threaded holes for them on each side....you'll see. I highly recommend them.

I installed PIAA 110X super white fog lights a few weeks ago..it was a real bitch..but they look awesome..by far the best fog light out there..I think they may be a little too white..I drove behind my girlfriend and she said they lit up the whole inside of her car..

I put the Pilot kit in with the bumper on with no problem. All you need is a long phillips screw driver. Cut away the plastic guard and screw the flog lights on. Bumper on. I just wired to the battery. I have enough hooked to the cigar lighter.
Definately go with the Pilot kit and get new GS/GS-T/GS-X fog light covers. Cheek and a lot easier then cutting the vents out of the old ones.

I was installing a grillcraft 3-piece at the same time. The bumper had to come off anyway and I never gave it a second thought that I could do the job with the bumper on. I stand corrected.

If you don't want to run the switch wire inside, hook the switch wire to the "TAIL LIGHT" fuse in the fuse box under the hood and then hook the relay up to the lights and the battery. BE SURE you use the fused side of the fuse. That is, the connector on the side of the fuse that is not powered when the fuse is out of the slot. Then, when you turn on your parking lights/headlights, your fogs are on with no inside extra switch necessary. They work with Highlight on also. Rich Benner Jr HPDustoff@aol.com
