#1381, "Automatic shift knob"

Hey,
I saw a post back about putting in an aftermarket knob in auto with o/d. I did this and it was a pain. I looked around for about 5 months for a knob that will fit. I only found one knob that'll work. The napolex/levoc hybrid with o/d, it usually runs around $100-110 (www.napolex.com) its the lv-451-455. I pretty much followed the nissan directions for it. But there is a little custom cutting involved to fit it on. Nothing major tho. But the wiring is different. Here is what i did:

Because there is only 2 wires for the levoc knob and 3 for the stock one. The 3 stock wires 1 is for ground (black) one is the transmission (i think it was red), and a yellow one for the lights. I hooked ground to ground obviously, but the transmission and light wire, i hooked both up to the power wire in the knob. It works fine the light goes on and off, and the o/d comes on and off, so i guess it worked ok. Just follow the directions mostly with this exception. It took me about 1 1/2 hours but it was all trial and error, it shouldnt take that long. But it looks good and everything so i guess it was worth it. Have fun, i hope this helps other people. Peace, Deze

Any pics?

How's the fitment?

My RAZO GUNGRIP auto shift knobby doesn't fits half decent...it goes on the metal rod just fine, but at the bottom of the metal rod, there's this shiney oval barrier...

Since the metal rod is not centered in the oval, my knob fitment is not flush. emoji

What about with the levoc?

I took pics but i have to develope them. I didn't take pics of the installation even tho i should have. It looks great, the fitment of the levoc is almost perfect. The only thing is the rubber that slides over the stick is too long so you need to cut it, after it's cut it fits perfect, like it belongs there. I'll post the pics when i develope them. ok peace
