#1366, "custom door panels"

Has anyone seen the custom door panels on teamprototype.com yet. In the online store section. They're kinda cool, but pretty expensive. Just thought i let you all know in case anyone wants to get them. Peace

Good point about the locks and windows, but the speakers are fit for 6 1/2 speakers, and 5 1/4 mid range, or pretty much any 2 speakers you want, my friend wants them for a crx and they told him this. I guess its good if you're that much into sound comps. And the plastic thing... I guess they're made of fiberglass, but still not morth $600.

If they were cheaper and didn't have so much space for so many speakers, I would consider. I like the gauge idea. And one stock sized speaker. The Honda doors were cheaper and the H lights up. We got ripped off on that. The aftermarket parts world is all for Honas. That's why they have the unfair advantage. That and VTEC. But, anyways. These doors need improvement b4 I buy them.

vtec blows dude, if you do some research on it you will see where im comin from, its not even advantageous. those pieces of ass put out around 100 lbs of torque on some models and the power only comes when the vtec kicks in at like 5500
check the "vtec reality check" webpage for a better explanation

True they are pretty gutless unless you rev to 4000 to jump on acceleration. I belive them to be advantageous but it certainly isn't strictly in their engines but in their "powerband gearing". There torque is up there on the rpms but is narrow with that and the HP. The VTEC Si gets the gas mileage of V6 Rustang. The reason they are pretty quick is because their gears are perfectly matched for their very narrow powerband, so once it drops out the game for them is OVER. We are fortunate to have the Neon R/T gearing but it isn't geared to the strength of our engines sweet spot such as Vtec Engines/Trannies are. Our 3rd gear will run up to 100mph. That's pretty unbelievable, as well as out of the powerband. The perfect example is here: Neon R/T VS Civic Si. The Neon R/T has 150HP and 133lb-ft of torque with the Si making a measly 111pounds of torque and a whopping 160HP. The '98 R/T stock runs 0-60 in 7.5s while the Si does it .5 a second quicker even though it out weighs the Neon by almost 150 pounds and 22 less pounds of torque. Strickly by those numbers the Neon SHOULD to spank and Si but it can't. So it's true the VTEC engine isn't almighty but it's properly geared to achieve good accelerate in the vehicle, better than would be in a nonVTEC engine. I like the advantages in non VTEC like engines, though. Before my friend crashed his Intergra(non VTEC) he would run it up to 135-140mph without too much problem. His friends GS-R would die at 125-130 from what's considered drag limited(I call it power limite emoji), but because of the nonVTEC's broader torque curve(not peak torque) it could travel to a higher top speed, although, it would take longer to get there than the GS-R. Eentually he would beat him. This happened EVERYTIME they drove to Vegas from Socal.
