was just wondering how hard it is to put a 97-99 front end on a 96 eclipse? does it fit the same? just have to bolt it on? send me an email jmr420@insight.rr.com

from what i've been told it is relatively bolt on.. but you will have to get some 97-99 headlights also, or it won't fit, cause the bumper and headlights are different on the 95-96 and 97-99.

My summer bumper is a 97. It will bolt right up but the head lights (96 and down) will push the bumper up a little. If you want a clean look buy the 97+ lights but you don't have to.

Engine mods-
RS Akimoto short (P.O.S.!) intake, Greddy Sport Cat-back ex.
Suspension-
Ground Control Coil-overs,KYB AGX shocks, RS Akimoto strut bar(front) TSW Trouphies 18x8,Nitto 555's.
Exterior-
Paint! C.F. Hood, Z3 fenders, Street Fighter Gen 2

Yeah you might want to get new headlights, but the bumper is just a bolt on.

Also I dont think the bumper will give you any performance increases so you might want to post in the appropriate section emoji
