Has anyone tried this, painting the crome plasic on the inside of the tail light? Ive been debating on getting them, but I dont want the crome on it, i want it to be silver, so i figured why not you be able to take them apart like you do the headlights and paint them while you fix the fishtank problem.

they are so simple to take apart. the reason...they are put together so badly in the first place. they arent air sealed they just have plastic clips that hold the lens to the housing, you may have to break some of these clips, but you will want to seal them anyway when you finish so it wont matter
