#13425, "People with brakelights in the rear window (or how to fabricate one?)"

Where is that third brakelight located on the rear window? near the top or at the bottom?

Anyone have any tips about trying to fabricate one?

A red light.. some casing.. knowing how to wire it to the brakelights... anything else?

Planning ahead.. because i'll probably have to do this when i get my carbonfiber wing.

I think it'd be easier to buy the rear brake light assembly off a wrecked car. All 97-99 gst and gsx's have em because their high spoiler doesn't have a brake light. So do the RS's that have no wing on them...I would start looking in a junk yard. That way the assembly fits flush, and you probably just have to run some wiring from your current plug that connects to the spoiler, into the new one.

alright mike, you get logic's, and i'll get jeff's.. this way we won't get into a big confused mess.

if logic can't find his though, you can have dibs on jeff's, since as of now, you need that third light more then i do. =)
