Question about body kits...I see a lot of them in ebay, pretty good prices. Do they normally come unpainted? Are they hard to install?

even body kits that you buy at vis racing and other site need work. There is no bolt on kits out there. If your going to buy a kit bring it to a body shop that installs kits so they can do it... and don't expect a week turn around when you drop off your kit, cause if it's back to you in a week expect the fiberglass to eventuly crack. It takes some time to put a kit on properly so it looks perfect everytime you look at it

Alot of body kits on ebay are not in good condiction and take a lot of work to fit. Try www.aerogear.net. I got my side skirts from them and they came with no scratches, no dings, and it was an exact fit. My car is in the shop now getting them put on.

Cool...So I guess after you get your body kit, you can get the whole car repainted huh.

Ya that would be a good idea to paint your whole car when you get a kit since it's not that much more. We charge 650 to paint a kit (not including install for eclipses), and 1300 to paint the whole outside of the car. But if you want to do a complete color change, then it's quite a bit more to also paint the insides. Don't buy cheap kits that are way too thin that they will crack easily. Good luck.
