What is needed for wet sanding, what I mean by that is what grit sandpaper, etc. Any tips on how to do this. Before anybody says don't try this and leave it to the pros I have an extra bumper lyin around the house I want to practice on, it needs major painting anyway so I don't really see how I could fuck anything up. Or should I really not try it and leave it to the pros even though I have that extra bumper? Well I guess you will never learn if you never try it, any tips would be greatly appreaciated.

Just get 3M Wetordry sandpaper and soapy water to wet sand (and clean) at the same time. Just sand it by hand, or with a block, use plenty of water, and use 400 grit before you paint it. If you are sanding down bondo, you can use regular dry sanding with 80 or 220 grit, depending on how much you need to sand off. Don't wet sand until the very end to get it smooth before painting...

Like Marcus said, all you need is 3M sandpaper(400 for wet) and a flexible sanding block. I just use regular water w/ no soap in it. It is very easy, just sand till it is smooth.

i used 600 when i was doing my car... and make sure you go with the grain if you know what i'm talking about... don't do circles....straight back and forths... and make sure you wash it down when you finish each section... and don't touch the area with your hands once you open the paint...
