has anyone ever though about making tail light over lays out of the same stuff they make decals out of???? Maybe get something like Mitsubishi in japanese or maybe the 3 diamond logo cut out, please tell me wha you think this would look like

I used window tint once. The re-usable kind. It's very thick, kind of like vinyl, but it is transparent enough to see the brakelights and blinkers. You can even pull it off and just stick it back on. I imagine you could cut out something without a problem. Was like $8 at Wal-Mart for one roll. I also used it on the sidemarkers cause I had headlight covers. Is that something you are looking for?

No I was thinking more in the lines of the way this 240sx's tail lights ... the reason I was thinking about doing this is becouse my Girlfried's car is a 240 and she has these type of tailight covers and i think it wouuld look good on a eclipse... here is the web page...

I'm sure a vinyl shop could do that. I don't see why not. There is that one place that makes custom vinyl cutting. I think their name is Superior Signs I talked to them a few times about custom decals and they do just about everything. If you wanted to I can get their e-mail and phone #

I'm not too sure what you mean, but i had a set of "custom" tail light covers made out of vinly a few months ago. Here's a link to the pics
Tell you the truth, covering the tail lights in vinly was a huge pain in the ass and many ppl consider it ricy sooo it's up to you. Since than i've gone to c set of half red half clears and they look pretty nice. LATER

Don't have the stock Eclipse anymore
