I got the wang today. It's a perfect match in color, no scratches, etc., it IS adjustable in fact, too. On the sides are two plastic logos screwed onto (hides the adjustable screws underneath) and it says "Venom" with the Venom logo in black. it is suhhweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Small problem tho...

All holes on the wang APPEAR to line up to my stock holes. Now I havent taken off my stock spoiler yet, either. But I will find out soon enough I guess. The problem is this... all holes are empty on the wing except for two. These two holes have a broken off screw inside both of those holes. I tried to get a pair of pliers and unscrew them out. This is not the big deal. The bid deal is that what kind of screws should I use? Arent the screws supposed to be already on/inside the wing? Or no? Do you put the screws into the wing and then the screws go THROUGH the trunk/hatch and then you put nuts on the other end of the screw inside the trunk? Do I have this concept right? If I am right, and you guys reply saying I am correct, then I should have a wing installed tonight. Otherwise, please correct me if I am wrong and help me out. This wang is SO sweeet and will totally change the look of the car, omg. tia

new info:

The holes were/ are stripped. The previous owner of it emailed me back and said he didnt use nuts and screws...he just screwed the wing into the trunk with a drill. Can I just open the trunk, get a powerful enuff drill and get some wood screws or sheetmetal screws with phillips head on them and drill the suckers right through the trunk into the wing? Do I risk the wing cracking? Any advice is appreciated. tia

Yes you can just drill through the trunk and use long screws from inside the trunk. The problem is, there is a risk of cracking the wing, which is usually why you install it before you paint it to make sure the screws go in ok. Other thing I would worry about is the fiberglass cracking over time, and your screws might actually fall out, so just be careful to make sure it doesn't get loose and fall off while driving. good luck.

Another thing you can use , we use it at my sign shop all the time. Is a product made by 3M, its called VHB tape. Its like 1/16th of an inch thick. Its basically double-sided tape, with a super strong adhesive, they use it to install some body parts on cars. So along with the screws or whatever you decide, try to find some of this. Its really sticky sh*t, I had it on my wing and it was nearly impossible to get the wing off once I got the bolts off. (Sold aluminum spoiler, but I about gave the money back to the guy, because it was such a bit*h to get off!!!)
