what type of gauges? are you talking about indiglo gauge OVERLAYS? You just put them over the stock gauge faces. Then you should have a power wire and a ground. power goes to a power source that turns on when your gauge lights normally turn on and ground ... goes to a ground.

my reverse indiglos, slipped over the needles, and the side ones I think had small screws to hold them. I also used a folded piece of paper and applied clear epoxy on the back to hold them down flat so the needles wouldn't get caught. I had to get an extra piece of wire, I ran mine thru the firewal , drilled a small hole in my fuse box cover, and ran the wire into my tail lamp fuse. I think I grounded to the - battery cable.

i have the indiglo guages.....do i place them over or rip the old ones off. there are 2 wires as you said on with a plug and then the wire as you said that might be the ground wire??? how do i place them to go to the back of the pannel and to the ground?

First off you want to place them over. Like 9d9 said the small side ones have little screws hold them down so you'll take the screw out put the indiglos one and them screw them down. You won't actually take anything off. The tach and speedo just slip them over the needle. You'll have to take apart your instrument cluster to do all this.
As for the wiring? How many wires do you have? I had 2 (I don't have my indiglo's anymore) wires. One black, one red. I didn't run it all the way to the fuse box like 9d9 did. I took the red wire (power) and tapped the wire that runs the lights for the stock lighting in the instrument cluster ... if you look under the dash there will be a big clump of wires in wire loom. I can't remember the exact color of it but it was either blue/white strip or green/white stripe. Tap the power wire into that. Then the group wire, put a connector on it and find a bolt that is grounded well and attach it there.

i think the parking light wire ur talking of is the white and green wire.. ijust ran power into my fuse box near the rest pedal and grounded it down there too.. then u should have them lil clips that connect to the guages... i drilled 2 small holes so i could slide the wires down under the steering wheel now they dont work i have to call AC and askfor new ones.. if not i will tell all not to buy...the first time i got them they sent no button so i was mad too.. and they sent one..
they are like 4 months old..
