#12329, "Anyone know a website where I can get a good look at different tailamps?"
My car (Eclipse 98' GS) was the victim of a hit-and-run yesterday in the parking lot of my job. Apparently a midsized trachtor trailer came into our incredibly icy parking lot in the morning (I live in Baltimore, MD, and yesterday morning the road's were covered with ice cause it rained and there were about 380 accident's here) and went behind my car where he proceeded to slide sideway's and ran right into the back of my car (pushed my car about 6 feet as well). He then proceeded to hurry out of the incredibly slippery parking lot thinking no one saw him. Lucky for me, the woman in a house about 50 yard's from the parking lot saw the whole thing and alerted another employee that was just arriving.
Anyway, he smashed my tail lamp, and kind of pushed the metal portion of the assembly inward, causing my hatchback to stick up a little bit. He also put little dent's into the hatchback near the light, and damaged the back bumper so that it's protruding from the metal portion of the body of the car at the edge. I'm not too mad though, cause this is my opportunity to get some cool body kit part's, and a new Euro-style tailamp assembly.
I've been checking out Asylumms.com for body kit's, and I've been looking at the different tailamp's on Nopionline.com, but is there anywhere else online that give's good picture's of these tailamps? The one's on Nopionline are too small to really tell what they look like. My insurance company estimated about $1000 of damage. And I'm getting some extra money from work tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated.
