OK, SCV tries to send the wrong ones then tries to shit me outta my $$. Got outta that. VIS takes a month to get my address right and send the type 2's. The driver side one fits and lines up near perfect. The other side sux my sweaty ass after a hard day of work. The back where the scoop is does not even come close to lining up on the rear 1/4. It bows in the middle. Should I send them back (maybe just the messed up one) or is this normal for these?

I'm burnt out on this shit man. I'm bout tired of modding and getting half ass jobs and half ass made parts now. And dealing with assholes that sell the parts sometimes. What should I do about this?

i guess you just werent meant to have sideskirts. i like the stock 97-99 style. return yours and get some stockers then you dont have to worry about them not fitting. they fit like a glove!

I don't want stock tho. I wanna have a kit on it. No stock for me. I dunno. Fuck it. I give up. I will just leave it skirtless like it's a cheap hoe.

9D9, I had the opposite. My driver's side didn't fit that great (required bondoing), and my passenger side fit perfect. I got mine from VIS also. The thing is, the install has to be done in a special way. Everytime I put on my skirts, at first it seems like it won't fit, and then you have to push it further into the fender well etc. I would just fix it. It's really hard to get a perfect mold. Is it really that bad? If you take a pic of it on the car, I can tell you if it looks normal or something is really wrong with it...

ok. Will do. I am putting off the install till later. It looked too low for the shitty roads and uneven shit we have here. I have been in a few areas lately and finally bottomed out about 3 times in the mid section the past few days. I am getting a pro kit, tokicos, and later on going back to 215-45-17 tires. the passenger side on top of the scoop is fine. The whole thing is pretty good. The other was kinda bad. It was bowed out and had a minor crack they said. But it could be fixed. I am going to choose another shop. They said that if they filled the gaps, they would crack over time.

the scoop front and back laid against the rear 1/4 great, then the center bowed out about 1/2 an inch away from the 1/4. Also, when I opened the door, there was a big ole gap between the lower back corner of the door jamb and the sideskirt. Normal>>???

Gap between the door jam and side skirts is not normal. That means you need to install it more closer to the car usually. And if there is a gap near the rear quarter panel, just bondo it in. On my driver's side, I had maybe a 1/2" hole between the top of the skirt and the actual body of the car. We just bondoed it (no fiberglass even) and it's held up for over a year now. It's been only 4 months painted though.

it's my driver side too. Guess it's normal. We may have to have bondo done in several places. emoji The driver side skirt completely sux ballz. It has a small gap at the front, a nice gap in the door jamb at the corner right before the scoop comes up, then a gap on top of the scoop.

Yup! That's VIS' mold. Must just be like that then, since that's how mine was. Bondo done right will not crack easily. We bondoed it with the skirt on the car (with masking tape on the car body). So then the bondo just seeps into all the gaps and follows the body lines.
