I see ads on ebay advertising that the bulb sizes are H1 and H3...But I read ehre that theyre H3 and H4..Those of you out there that actually have them..can you look ont he actual bulbs? Id like to know before I buy the projectors, so I can order some PIAAs..

So what size is high, and what size is low?

Heres the RIGHT answer (and I've given the wrong one before too). Everybody has been correct about the low beams H3. High beams are H1 NOT H4s. I just put piaa super white platinums in and found out once again what I knew from the beginning but tend to forget. NO other brand compares to PIAAs, not more expensive Polargs, not cheaper Noykias, Not Hiper industries. PIAAs just appear to be brighter:
not that they are. I have read plenty of articles on all hyperwhite lights and what they do is A) remove yellow light via coating/tinted glass which is still removing usable light B) use different fillament coiling which doesn't produce more light but concentrates it in a narrower area. Drive hyper/superwhites in the rain and you know what I'm talking about. In fact if superwhites shined more light than a bulb for there wattage via legitimate testing they would not meet DOT standards and they do. The only legitimate practice super/hyperwhites have to increase lighting is increase the content of xenon gas which is proven to help brightness in halogens. Not all manufacturer do that. The mark up is supposedly rediculous compared to the effort to create these bulbs compared to conventional bulbs. Just read something yesterday and wanted to get it off my chest. Hell we buy bulbs cause they look better anyway not cause we cant see.
