One of my friend's dad is a mechanic..and he can get a $100 discount at wheelmax.com. I found a good deal on some Aerospeed Shu Rims....anybody no anything good/bad about aerospeed? Also what kind of tires should i go with (brand and rating)
only in silver, i got a black 96 RS (atleast black until April when i get new paint midnight blue and a Blitz Body Kit)

9d9 is right, rims are rims. Since they arent the real thing they are probably a little heavier, but I would go with them. I personally cant justify spending like 300+ for 1 wheel, hell and then you have to buy the tires for them. I say go for it, I was looking at those as well before I decided to just get gsx rims and keep the rest of my money for my turbo fund.

I got the katanas when they hadn't been out long. Maybe a few months. They hit me for 1350 with tires, mounting and balancing. Tires are what gets old quick. Low profiles don't last long, and u might as well figure on spending $400 or so every 30,000 miles or less. Probably less if you are lowered and/or have a heavy foot.

yea i looked forever to make sure that they made 5 but i never could find anything...soo i called this company and they assured me that they would fit. Is there such a tire as a federal tire (company)? One thier web site it says they come with either falken's or Kumho. but the guy that was ording them for me said that he didnt really understand but he thought they might have said federal?
