Well, in order to do this you'll need some stuff, but its pretty easy if you are fmailiar with wiring things. You will need to buy two bulbs, size and style doesnt matter as long as they run on 12V power source. If they draw less than 12, use a resistor inline.

Remove the center piece from the car. This is done by opening the hatch and unclipping the panel nearest to the back of the car. The center piece is held on by about 7 10mm nuts. You will need a deeper welled socket to get them off because the nuts are pretty deep as in comparison with the 'screw' they are on.

After removing, drill two holes equidistant from both sides and insert your bulbs into the holes, with the positive and negative wires that go to the bulb in hand. You make the bulb secure by using tape or whatever you want, use your imagination. Then run the positive and negative wires inline with anything you want. I'd go with the parking lights or fog lights, located on driver side behind the panel.

Splice it into the positive and negative. It you are using a lower voltage bulb, remember to insert a resistor after your splice, in the line leading to your new bulbs. (330ohm sould work) -- (80 cents at Radio Shack) You can splice the positive and negative for the net bulb into the line you just made, after the resistor and you will not need to use one....if of course your using a lower voltage bulb.

Not sure where you could run the wire, maybe under shit along the fllor, be creative. After you make sure the lights work, seal the holes in your centerpiece with the bulbs in, and surround with....umm I can't remember what the stuff it called.

Thats it.

yup, those are reflectors. In order for those to light up, you would have to get plastic, take the lights apart, epoxy some "walls" around the inside of the lenses around the square, and then drill a hole for the light bulbs. You would have to block the light and keep it in that area for it to light up by itself.

yep those are built in reflectors and only appear when light shines on them. it is part of why some people consider the atezzas not legal because they lack the red reflector which is a safety feature on all cars taillights..

No, his headlights aren't on. I took a pic of my freinds car at night and the tails on my GS which was parked next to his looked like that.
