Ok, so i have researched the different ones, and cannot seem to find the knock-off B&M shifter, closest one I can find is the megan one on ebay, but there is also another (though rather strange looking) shifter that claims to reduce by 50% as well... can anyone get me a link to the one everyone else has or tell me if either of these looks to be worth the money?

Megan racing shifter:

Other shifter:

I am also curious if anyone has modified one of these to remove say ~1.5" from the top of it, could you tell me the best way?

I have the 2nd Cheaper one and hate it! I am also looking for something better to upgrade to. The rod on the black piece that goes through the silver piece is smaller than the hole on the silver piece so there is play and the bolt that holds the 2 pieces together is always coming loose when you shift.

The 2nd one is the worst one they dont work on most 2g eclipses. The first one works but still sits as tall as the stock shifter it just reduces the throw by a good amount. Personally I dont like any of the aftermarket short shifters for our car, I bought a custom one from a local guy its just a modified stock one.
