Ian, Hey I was curious how much it cost to get your rims powder coated and how long it took. I have the hook ups through my new job to get powder coating so I just wanted to see what deal I can get. Also I was wondering if you had an extra set of rims I could borrow if I decide to get them done. Thanks

whats up eric. Well i got it through a guy my dad's work uses to powdercoat manufactured parts. I had to drive the wheels down to orange and the stripper so they could be sandblasted and stripped of their factory clear and paint. That cost $53. The powderoasting was going to be about $60 but he did it for free. 2 coats steel gray, and 2 coats clear. It cost $15 to uninstall tires, $45 to mount, balance, and reinstall tires and $53 to strip them. So $113 total. So also had done my engine and brakes for free before.

And about the rims, i borrowed Dan's rims. He was at the meet w/ the turboed White RS. His screen name is the_dawg i think. Maybe you can borrow them too.
