Ok, So I just brought home my first DSM today. Yes I offically converted... The problem is the car needs lots of TLC. It is a RS..So the manual windows/locks/mirrors are out. But I'm not sure how to wire auto into a manual set up... Any help would be greatly appriecated. Thanks!

Make sure to get the proper interior panels as well. Having power doors that you can't control because you forgot to swap to the proper panels is a major annoyance.

it is very easy to do, i bought a GS parts car took all the parts from it i needed and sold the rest an ended up making money off of the car, like everyone else says pretty much plug and play, good luck with tht conversion

BTW this ranks as one of the best mods I've done to the RS. On a daily basis, I probably get more satisfaction out of it than the turbo or my interior. I hated cranking down that passenger window

thats what pissed me off the most, having no a/c driving down the road and having to do that whole reaching across the car thing

I guess I lucked out when I got mine because I already had power locks and windows. I'll have to look under the dash though because I haven't been able to find the connections for the power mirrors.
